Jewish

If you are Jewish, it means that you belong to an ethnoreligious group of people. Judaism is often the practised religion of Jewish communities, although it is possible to identify as Jewish without practising Judaism. Jewish ethnicity, nationhood, and religion are often interrelated. The Nazis identified anyone who had one Jewish grandparent as Jewish, even if they had converted to another religion. For some, they weren’t even aware of their Jewish heritage.
